Alfred Hitchcock Presents Murder Racquet
Cover painting for a selection of 14 short stories introduced by Alfred Hitchcock; published by Mayflower. I remember being quite happy with this painting and its companion, Grave Business, not only because the portraits had worked out well but because the Art director was pleased. You very rarely got any feedback in those days unless they were unhappy. Hitch is looking quite slim in this picture. Must be all the Squash he's playing.
