Alien Landscapes: End of the World
One of two artworks originally commissioned for a Pierrot Publishing book to illustrate one of ten well-known fantasy landscapes. The text was supplied by Robert Holdstock and Malcolm Edwards. This image was also used on the cover of the UK and French editions of the book.
The artwork has also been used on various other book covers, including a French paperback, the Gollancz cover for Tau Zero by Poul Anderson and the Italian cover for Scarlet Plague by Jack London.
