Dan Dare; Mekonta Daytime

This painting, along with one other which seems to be lost was done for a proposed TV series for ATV. My friend and colleague Jim Burns also did some work on it.  It was never made but there is an interesting article about "The Lost Dan Dare Series here;   https://down the tubes.net/british-comics-reference/british-comic-characters-and-strips-profiled/british-comic-characters-profiled-dan-dare/the-lost-dan-dare-tv-series/
