Dragon's Treasure

Cover for a novel by Elizabeth A. Lynn; published in the USA by Ace in both hardback and paperback editions. For me, this is a slightly unusual approach to a dragon as I prefer to get a bit more animation into the pose. I usually feel that this sort of symetrical position looks unnatural, but it was necessary for this job and I managed to get some energy into it. In the end it looks quite dramatic and made a strong cover.
