Heliconia Spring

Artwork commission by The Times Newspaper to accompany an excerpt from Brian Aldiss' Heliconia Spring. Brian Aldiss' book was launched with a great deal of publicity and fanfare. The creature is called a Phagor. The painting was rather long and narrow so I've cropped the left hand side a bit for this gallery.
