Preliminary sketch for an artwork commissioned by Century for David Gemmell's novel. The artwork was also used on the Italian edition and on a ZX Spectrum computer game. ( Those were the days ). The publishers managed to damage the painting beyond repair so this is the only record I have of this painting.
