Commissioned by Tanjen for the cover of a book by Mark Morris, this was not published. It does convey a little of Morris' particularly creepy imagination. Now also used on the cover of Earthling's edition of The Very Best of Best New Horror, to celebrate the anthology's twentieth anniversary. Editor Stephen Jones selected one story from each volume which he considered the best. There are stories by Stephen King, Clive Barker, Peter Straub and Joe Hill and an introduction by Ramsey Campbell.
