Shadows in the Mist

Cover for a novel by Brian Moreland, published by Blue Morpho. See the Prelims Gallery for the initial sketch. I'm not quite sure what it is about gas masks that are so spooky, but Brian Moreland uses the idea to great effect in his atmospheric novel. If the gas masks aren't enough, just wait 'til you find out what's underneath... Cover design by Kathi Dunn, www.dunn-design.com.
