This was commissioned by Pierrot Publishing for use inside and on the back cover of The Immortals of Science Fiction by David Wingrove. Through the three paintings for this book I wanted the robots to evolve from clunky machines to streamlined super-mechanisms. I would handle them differently today. Yes, that is Colin Clive.

It has been used on French, German, UK and USA paperback covers, Omni Magazine TV rights and interior use in Heroic Dreams published by Dragon's World.
