One of the interior artworks for the HG Wells Classic Collection published by Gollancz. The collection includes The Time Machine, The Island of Dr. Moreau, The War of the Worlds, The First Men in the Moon and the Invisible Man.
The actual drawing is a negative of this. I would have liked to try drawing in white on black but I chickened out and opted for the technological quick fix.
