Cover for Constable & Robinson's collection of horror and dark fantasy fiction, edited by Stephen Jones, including stories by Kim Newman, Neil Gaiman, China Miéville, Paul McAuley, Glen Hirshberg, Ramsey Campbell and Tanith Lee.
The editor wanted to use the bat image from an old painting (see Grail Quest #1, in the Vintage Gallery) so I gave it a new background via some digital jiggery-pokery and repainted parts of the bat in Painter and voila!
