Vimes and Croissant Rouge

Commissioned by Gollancz for the 2005 Terry Pratchett Discworld Calendar. For some reason I don't often get to paint animals so this was an unusual excursion for me. The bat hanging in the doorway was a last minute addition. Visit the Prelims Gallery to see an early sketch version.
