I've never really painted clowns before in spite of encouragement from one or two Art Directors. I do not find them innately scary as some people do and they're possibly a bit over used. However I'm not one to avoid a cliche and when a neighbour told me he was teaching a class in clowning I thought I'd have a crack at a couple.
