Basil Rathbone

I know it's heresy to some but I'm not a fan of Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes. He's much too bombastic for me. I have to admit though, that he certainly looked the part. (Until they did that strange thing with his hair in the later films,that is.) With pipe and dressing gown, every inch The Great Detective.
