Black Magic Baby
Commissioned by WH Allen for the cover of The Carry-Cot by Alexander Thynne ( the 7th Marquess of Bath ). It wasn't used so I changed the title to Black Magic Baby. It was used on a French paperback. It's a very early piece in Gouache, before I switched to oils, and it's surprisingly clourful.
I've cropped this image as there is a lot of dead space on the left.
