Cover for a collection of 21 stories of Horror and the Dark Fantastic, edited by Christopher Golden, Tim Lebbon and James A Moore. published by Cemetery Dance. This was a great idea from the editors but turned out not to be as straightforward as you might think. I had quite a bit of trouble shooting reference photos for this. I tried draping a sheet over a skull (which I just happened to have around the place) but with poor results until I made the sheet wet. This meant I could place folds in the material in the way I wanted and they would more or less stay put. The results were spookily Jamesian.
