Confrontation 40K prelim 2
One of several preliminary sketches I did for Games Workshop two of which are almost identical. I can't remember why there are two drawings that are so similar, it's rather puzzling. Spot the difference. The final piece was rather different. It was meant for a game box cover but I don't think it was ever used for that. The eventual painting, which is in the Vintage gallery, did end up on the cover of White Dwarf magazine.
