Gideon The Ninth

This is the cover painting for the debut novel by Tamsyn Muir, the first of a trilogy, to be published by Subterranean Press. I took considerable artistic licence with the colouring of this piece as the book describes this scene as taking place in rather bleak and drab surroundings. I thought the addition of the starry sky would give it a bit more life.
