Interior artwork for Iron Council by China Mieville published by Subterranean Press. Oil Bill is a somewhat peripheral character in the story but I liked the idea of putting a western style scene in a science fiction book. I nearly broke my rule that the train shouldn't be seen. I like the colours in this one.
