Monolith

This was commissioned by the advertising agency Lowe, Lurzer for the German glass company Schott. In reality the glass block was about nine inches tall and was incredibly heavy due to a high lead content. The refractive qualities of a block of solid glass like that are fascinating. The client was after a fantasy/SF look but I'm sure I got the job because I like painting rocks.
