Stone and Sky

I originally painted this back in 1998 for the cover of the first book in The Stone Trilogy by Graham Edwards, published by Harper Collins. The truth is, I was never happy with the painting which is why it's never been on the website. I found I just couldn't translate Graham Edwards' epic vision into paint. However, Val disinterred it from the vaults and suggested that I repaint at least part of it. Unusually, I took her advice and I think it's a definite improvement.
