Tarzan

Personal piece.

I had a large canvas laying around the studio for ages. I'd originally intended it for a portrait but felt it was really a bit too big. Then I decided one day to use it to paint Tarzan, mostly, I think, because I'd already painted a green ground on it. I definitely wanted a heroic figure, but without the ripped muscles and bulging veins of much fantasy art, more of a return to the Johnny Weismuller look.
