Tarzan in the Lost City

A private commission for a fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs. I was really pleased with the way this turned out although it took much longer to paint than I expected. It has many of the themes I love to paint. I don't know how well it comes over on screen but the painting is very rich in contrast to my usual, rather subdued, palette.
