The Monsters Escape.

This was a private commission which was great fun to do. The client's idea was to reverse the traditional gothic romance cover where a woman is fleeing in fear from a forbidding looking building and have a horde of monsters making their escape. I found it's next to impossible to make monsters look scared but I had a good time painting them and managed to squeeze in a Sidney Jordan reference. Can you spot it?
