Cover for the second in the Chathrand series by Robert VS Redick, published in the UK by Gollancz.
As this is the second in the series I already had a good idea what the huge ship should look like. However, I'm not a nautical expert and was just trying to follow the author's description. I've got no idea if such an enormous vessel could exist in reality. Good job it's a fantasy then. It was very enjoyable to paint and I think it has a kind of freshness to it.
