Who Fears the Devil

Cover for a book of stories by Manly Wade Wellman published by Star Horror. A real golden oldie this one, painted back when I was still using gouache. There's even a bit of airbrushing going on. I remember being particularly pleased with the idea of the character being trapped behind the guitar strings; dead symbolic. The guitar is based on my old Eko acoustic; long gone.
